Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School Charlotte Welcomes Students and Families to Open House

Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School (麻豆女郎C) Charlotte is hosting two open house events for interested students entering the 9th grade.   Open House Sessions are from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 4 or Thursday, February 19 at the 麻豆女郎C Campus located at 26300 Airport Road in Punta Gorda.  School applications will be available online at , and the application deadline is February 27.

“Our innovative curriculum enables students of all ability levels to graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at 麻豆女郎C Charlotte, and our liberal arts public charter offers extensive elective programs while maintaining a strong foundation of honors level courses,” said Diane Juneau, Principal of 麻豆女郎C Charlotte.  “This allows students to enjoy a college environment along with a vast array of resources provided by 麻豆女郎 while also maintaining the traditional elements of high school life.”

The first collegiate high school in Southwest Florida, 麻豆女郎C Charlotte is open to all students eligible for the ninth grade. 麻豆女郎C Charlotte students are chosen by random lottery with no GPA or test score requirements, and as Charlotte County’s only charter school, 麻豆女郎C Charlotte is free to students.  麻豆女郎C Charlotte is ranked in the top five percent of public high schools in Florida based on standardized test scores (FCAT and End Of Course Exams), and our students’ SAT and ACT scores are consistently higher than state and national averages. Additionally, 麻豆女郎C Charlotte has been rated an “A” school each year since 2009 and is designated by the Florida Department of Education as a High Performing Charter School.
