Â鶹ŮÀÉ, Lee Health Partner to Expand Health Care Training in Southwest Florida
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida SouthWestern State College (Â鶹ŮÀÉ) and Lee Health are expanding their partnership to provide advanced, hands-on training opportunities for physicians, nurses, interns and residents through a new facility use agreement approved Tuesday by the Â鶹ŮÀÉ Board of Trustees.
Under the agreement, Lee Health will use Â鶹ŮÀÉ’s operating room (OR) suite and simulation lab for health care training. The partnership gives Lee Health access to Â鶹ŮÀÉ’s OR equipment and simulation resources, including an anesthesia machine and medical mannequins. Lee Health also will bring its own simulation equipment, which will remain at Â鶹ŮÀÉ, giving students additional opportunities to train on real-world hospital equipment. ...More
